i keep thinking the only reason they don't let him is cause Masuda and Ohmori know that if anyone else directs, they'll make them look worse in comparison.

However...getting someone like Morimoto to direct like a D/P remake or a 3rd version of SWSH would help so much especially if he's willing to bring back the National Dex.

I wish GF changed directors more often.
By main duos only, we had 2 gens of Tajiri, 4 Masuda gens and now 2 Ohmori gens. Ohmori should leave.

I admit, I loved the followmons feature in HGSS.
But I still prefer Tajiri's vision in RBY, the Kanto series and how Pokemania came to be. It'd be nice for Tajiri to return and for Morimoto to work alongside him. They'd be unstoppable. And I'd get to see that Gen 1 minimalism color and angry eyes, expressive style return.

I'm all for this, but I worry the top brass wouldn't let him include all the Pokemon. Hes definitely the type to want a game have as much as possible but even he could be stopped by people above him.
