So i'm picking Scorbunny as my starter, but I love this centipede like you wouldn't believe. Is it wise to have two of the same type on my team? Help me choose, /vp/, i'm an autist.

Using two of the same type isn't a bad thing in competetive either.
They help break for each other because they wear down resists with constant pressure.
Hell Magearna+Mega Mawile were perfect partners for each other and they even have the same dual type.

Yes, I just don't understand why everyone assume that it's version exclusive. Snom line is clearly the Volcarona of Gen 8, it's a late bug. Centipede is half-way bug and the new bug/psychic pokemon is an early regional bug.
