If they do that and add all the usual fixes/upgrades, the third version/sequel could become the Emerald/Platinum to Sword and Shield's RS/DP. But I honestly can't tell at this point if that was their intention from the start or not.
>>41021038Really the precedent is already there. The gen 3 and gen 4 paired versions were considered very flawed, even though they eventually became iconic in their own right. Maybe none of the issues they had reached quite the exposure as Dexit has, but both Emerald and Platinum were praised for vindicating their predecessors.
