Why do people keep buzzwording the graphics are bad.
The graphics are good for most of the game, the texture models look clean and shiny, it's just the wild area that looks bad, specially when it's under blurry rain/sandstorm filter, which is reasonable since it's the largest area in game.

Except in what are supposed to be the staple parts of the game, literally all of the textures are plagued by 480p, and other various shit. Aside from battle graphics, the game is barely a glorified 3DS game, maybe worse.

I’m okay with that but some people had higher expectations for the hardware. That’s their problem though.

I’m sure it’s to allow you to visualize just the Pokémon fighting, imagine if the trainer was right behind it when a Pokémon did a giant beam attack, then you guys would complain it’s not realistic enough that the trainer isn’t dead.

This happens all the time in games with big flashy attacks, like supers in fighting games. What you should do in circumstances like that is cut to a different camera angle where the people aren’t in the shot. That way you both don’t have to tend them and the player doesn’t see them stand there through a hyper beam unmolested.

There are a multitude of visual issues with the game. Pic related. Even if you think they're fine, keep in mind pokemon were cut so we can have better graphics. And what we got were 3ds tier visuals. Which when compared to any other game on the switch, looks like complete garbage.
