Everyone here is over the age of 12. They watch this kids show and they want to talk about it with others. If something they don't like happen they'll want to talk about it. I never understood why people other than kids would watch the pokemon anime, I remeber back in the X&Y days when I was younger, trying to get into the anime. I just dropped it after 4 episodes, it was so painfully obvious made for kids, not even my love for the franchise at the time gave me the motivation to keep watching.

I got sick of the show when I was about 10, and even then I didn’t watch it much. The only reason I watched the entirety of XY was because I heard Ash would win. I just wanted to be a part of the event that so many had been waiting for. Which is why the loss stung so much for me and my flaming hatred for the anime that formed that day will never die.

I don't care about it. I don't want to watch it and I haven't seen a single episode, though I have seen some gifs and webms. I am happy that Ash won the Alola league but at the same time it feels a bit hollow because this is something that should have happened a long time ago.
