The main reason SwSh turned out to be a steaming pile of shit is because Game Freak rushed development to try and maximize yearly profits and promote new merch. GF’s excuse for cutting Pokemon to add polish was obviously a lie, we still have a short, half-baked game with tons of oversights, subpar graphics, and massive handholding. Masuda and everyone at GF knows they’re making literal shit. Any professional game dev has the common sense to understand they’re producing shit and cutting corners in order to meet deadlines. Stop doing mental gymnastics to explain away the trainwreck you’re seeing and apply Occam’s Razor instead.
