Can we talk about actually making hard battles in pokemon?
When D/P (ha!) made their elite 4, it wasn't JUST based around the pokemon's type, it was based on their move pools. Sure the 1st guy you can KO with one fire type, but Vesiqueen's Pressure and Drapion not being a bug type, it fucked you up. Then Flint only using TWO fire types throws you off.
I had to really think about my team diversity when I went into this elite 4 and they haven't done it since. They wanted your pokemon to have Egg moves and TMs to cover your bases.
