I don't really care they cut pokemon, what I care is it does seem like an inferior product compared to not just the games that came before it but other games on the switch as well. Like no voice acting, no unique looking arenas to fight in, visually a downgrade compared to the lets go games.
That being said, most people play these just to see the cute monsters and not for any story or challenge as evidenced by their product quality as of late. I understand people are up in arms about this, but this forum and most people bashing the game are a small portion of the overall buyers of the franchise. Not saying it isn't warranted but don't be shocked when the game does well.
