Anyone who thinks character customization is the least important aspect of any game obviously has no brain. Look at 90% of successful games right now and they have some form of customization that allows for individual expression. People pay excessive amounts of money to change their characters appearance in games like League and Fortnite. Maybe you forgot that the biggest request for Sun/Moon was to bring back character customization from X/Y when it didn't appear in Alpha/Omega? Comparing it to the credits is the dumbest thing I have ever heard.
