You're supposed to use him in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers. Great movepool with Ominous Wind, Thunderpunch, and access to Faint Attack as an egg move

Trick Room for sure. I haven't really been into competitive since like gen 4, so I don't know if this is still a good idea, but I used to have a Trick Room team and Dusknoir was a beast.

All 3 elemental punches, Shadow Punch, Shadow Sneak, Earthquake, Brick Break, Payback, Rock Slide, and Power-Up Punch is great coverage wtf are you talking about.

I like to run either Impish, Sassy, or Relaxed nature, Leftovers, Payback, Will-o-Wisp, Pain Split, and either Power-Up Punch or Shadow Sneak.

My boy might not be the best but I love him.

Also for >>41072996 it'll work a lot better in dubs and 3v3 unless you have another trick room activating mon like Bronzong or Slowbro or something, even Dusclops seeing as it doesn't violate species clause. That ultra beast with with like 13 Speed would be great as well as something that can set up Stealth Rock (Stakataka gets it but it's horrid typing would make it hard and possibly waste a slot for something better but at the same time you don't want to use too many mons that have the main role of setting up stuff while not offering much offensively)

- Trick Room
You're going to have to bring this over from a previous gen so it can get Power-Up Punch. Its ability doesn't matter too much, but Frisk might be helpful. The hold item could be a multitude of things; It's up to you, although I'd suggest something to keep it healthy. My idea here is to Power-Up Punch as many times as you can and follow up with Trick Room. The turn after you use Trick Room, Dynamax your Ghost Dad and attempt to sweep. Ghost, Fighting, and Ground all have extremely beneficial Max-move effects for Dusknoir.

Power-up punch.
Best set I've used. It can also pull off a decent focus punch set with sub and and shadow punch/shadow sneak.
