>>41070953Okay take the wild area and put stuff in it besides pokemon and random NPCs to buy stuff from. Let there be caves and shit to explore, hell make them randomly generated. Also make the Wild Area like 5x bigger.
Make it to where all the towns/gyms are connected through the wild area and you need to go through it to get your next destination not just going on a route and only have to really go into the wild area 2 or 3 times in the game.
ACTUALLY HAVE ALL 16 GYMS THAT'S "IN THE LORE." Make it to where the player has to compete in the minor league before moving up to the major league. Make the minor gyms only be focused type specialization while major gym leaders focus on themes (with implied types specialties) Minor gym leaders will only have teams of 2-3 Pokemon while major gyms have teams of 4-5 Pokemon (maybe even 6 for the last 2) Let the player play the gyms in any order (except maybe the 7th and 8th major gyms for story reasons) Just scale the levels based on how many badges the player has.
Make the story less bad. I could go on this for a while but keep Rose the bad guy but make him in it 100% for the money (dynamaxing brings in the big bucks, use Piers' town as an example of what happens when gyms don't use it), and Leon is only in it for the fame and turns out to be a major douchebag that Hop has to realize. Don't make Eternus the source of Dynamax power but just feds off of it (the energy just naturally occurs in Galar) That's as far as I'll go because there's tons of shit I would rewrite.
Obvious shit:
Visual improvements, these ground textures are really bad
Use fucking LOD so we can see distant pokemon in the wild area, for fucks sake, gamefreak
Let the player turn off the exp share, also reduce exp gained as a whole
Dialogue speed up button, not just a cutscene skip one
Include all the fucking pokemon and moves
