>>41074845Prior to Gen 8 a special set was better. On the Battle Tree at least I ran Earth Power/Scald/Grass Knot/Uproar and that worked pretty well. Basically it was better because he didn't get a physical water move, scald has good utility, and Grass Knot lets it beat other Water and Water/Ground mons 1v1.
Now that it has Liquidation and Power Whip, there isn't that much of a reason to run special, given its +10 attack. He also gets Drain Punch, Poison Jab, and Rock Slide to potentially round out the set.
