Their file is in the game, so you should be able to transfer your Blastoise and Venusaur over to Swsh. Unless they are special kinds.

Oh. So they're technically in the game just not legitamently obtainable? Like how, say, you can't get Deoxys without an event but he's still in the game? Does this apply to everyone who got cut or was it just those two?

I'll admit that I need to see video footage of bulbasaur being in instead of just images. How can you get a WiFi event pokemon without being able to go online?

do you live under a rock? look at the datamine idiot. There are 35 more pokemon with data in the game than what the in game dex lists, the remaining kanto starters and the alola starters are confirmed to be among them, they already have sprites and models and everything.

it's not photoshop but they didn't obtain it in game either. it's injected. it works because all bulbasuars data is already in the game.

The Data for Venasaur and Blastoise are in the game and are perfectly functional, they just aren't legally obtainable like that Deoxys event you mentioned where they are in the game. This only applies to the Kanto Starters, Alolan Starters, and a couple legendaries and mythicals. In total there are about 435 Pokemon in SwSh. I guarantee that Bulbasaur will be transferable through Home when January rolls around

There are about 3 dozen or so mons that are in the code, but aren't in the Galar dex. It's mainly those two lines, the alola starters, and quite a few legendaries
