>>41083454It didn't even need all of them, just Extreme Speed (which Linoone JUST GOT LAST GEN) would have been enough to make it passable with Guts, let alone Sucker Punch which seemed like a given and Belly Drum would have been gravy. But no, can't do that, then its line might actually be good, we need focus on the important stuff, like justifying a reason to give Cinderace fucking Protean! The main reason I'm skipping this gen is because so many Pokemon besides just Obstagoon clearly had potential to be fun, but were fucked over out of crucial moves/abilities almost deliberately by Gamefreak to keep them shitty and undesirable. Like that new ice cube penguin, I don't even like it but at least it had an interesting gimmick, until you realize that it lacks Ice Shard and as a result, gets crushed by every faster special attacker in the game before it can even think of taking advantage of its unique abiltiy.
