I just want a Greece/Italian region, but knowing game freak they'd just create a cringey, stereotyped fictional version of the real thing (just like they did with galar, alola and kalos to an extent) Regions are supposed to be INSPIRED by real-life countries, just like they did until gen 6 came out

Scandinavia could be good for a sub region sort of deal; One game starts you in Norway, the other in Sweden, both eventually open up over the course of the game and end with the league in Denmark. Or however those countries ought to be arranged around.

I’d be ok with a Mexican region. There’s plenty of different biomes from desert in the north to jungle in the south, and Aztec deities would make for cool legendaries.
Bring back battle royale with luchador motifs, have a ghost type based off day of the dead and a Hawlucha evo. It could work.

I agree. gen V made an american region cleverly and thoughtfully. kalos had absolutely no subtlety whatsoever

I hope they will have Ground aardvark, fighting red River hog, rock hyrax and psychic meerkat
They should continue with gen 8 design keep it simple, cute, Goofy and cartoon Networkish but without neon color and vibrant color
They also should add new moves like Ambush or Warning call

Because before all then it was Japan, which obviously allows them to be nuanced, and Gen 5 was mostly New York. Face it, they were gonna screw up any attempt to design a region after a real country.
