do you have any thanks? any greviances? any regrets? i'm sure we have some issues with gen 7, but SM introduced my favourite pokemon and i like the ultra beasts

we went from gen V, one of the best generations, to gen VI, which fucking sucked major ass, then to VII which was better than VI and not bad, to gen VIII which dropped the ball entirely and went back to total shit

I love both X/Y and SM era. These games brought me plenty of joy and happiness. Many new Pokemon I like, including my favorite. And the vibrant joy of colorful characters.

KANTOOO and unova are based on technology and advancement
johto and kalos are based on old tradition
hoenn and alola are tropical
sinnoh and galar are based on old legends and are cold at the top
if it holds true then our next tropical region should be in gen 11

I liked the ultra beast, the aether fundation, and Silvally. Nice how they aimed to implement introduced species and conservation into Pokemon.

Gen 7 had a lot of problems but I think it was a genuinely good gen. And it'll go down in history where you could have all the Pokemon in one place.

The main problem was the retarded amount of handholding.

It did show some of the symptoms that are now overtaking the franchise, but it wasn't enough to bother me at the time, and still doesn't bother me. I probably should have seen the writing on the wall, though.

S/M was a pile of shit but at least US/UM redeemed Gen 7. Alola had a great and unique theme with a good storyline. I don't see the uniqueness of Alola in Gen 8.
