They sure have made it easy to skip this generation, and maybe give up on the series over all if the trend continues. I don't give a shit about these designs, there's 5 or so I don't dislike and I flat out hate at least half. Hopefully there's an attack on the office or Nintendo takes over or something so the franchise can be saved.

Mr Rime looks like it could fit into sinnoh.
Impidimp line is decent, Morgrem needs a new colour palette tho. Most of the bugs are passable.

The rest range from meh to trash.

They all look like blobs made of basic shapes that they had to add "head ornaments" to to make them try and stand out.
A lot of don't have a recognizable silhouette,which is important for good designs imo

Anyway, I agre with OP. These designs are awful and have no soul. Some of them are “ok” (Dubwool, Frosmoth, Centiscorch - maybe) but the rest are really bad.
Also, giving evolutions to Pokémon that were waiting for one for decades (Farfetch’d, Mr.Mime and Corsola) would’ve been cool... if they didn’t fuck it up with this idea of giving them to they fucking unimaginative and forced regional formes! (Even if I’m kinda happy the regular Mr.Mime doesn’t evolve in that western cartoon character)

Worst Pokémon designs ever.
