dont forget Game Freak doesn't hold back on social commentary, but they keeps it better hidden like the Sea Mauville stuff while Atlus tries to pretend they are rebels and do strong social commentary but they are conformist and suck status quo dick which made Persona 5 feel jarring and hypocrite because apparently they are too cowards to come off as controversial. I prefer Game Freak style.
Also Persona 5 Royal had much less content than previous re-releases they have done, basically Ultra changes levels.

Genius Sonority's Pokemon team died with Pokemon Battle Revolution. Game Freak put them down and ate what was left.

No no no... only P3 (Fes), P4 (Golden) and P5 (Royal) have that, true SMT games like Digital Devil Saga or de Raidou ones doesnt. Persona series also are called "Smt for childs" in smt fanbase.

Nioh as a series is pretty similar to pokemon with regard to the amount of diverse gameplay styles, and team ninja is way better at tone than gamefreak despiye being just as campy and retarded, but also competent developers. it's a perfect fit.
