That's how all pseudos work.
Beldum only has one move.
Deino evolves at the same 50.
You also typically can't catch them until the very last game area.

false, you can get dreepy at level 50-52 in the non overworld encounter (exclamation mark)
Drakloak is an overworld encounter at level 55

Still, same area, same weather restrictions and same chances.
You're probably more likely to run into Drakloak than a Dreepy.

I think they forgot to fix that 'cause he was a gift originally, you couldn't get it in the wild. The catch rate is actually stupid.

Also its only move is suicidal so it's much harder to control its HP.
Not to mention abysmal encounter rates.
Beldum is basically Feebas tier bullshit as far as catching it in the wild goes.

Reminder that those sadistic GF fucks made the Beldum line fucking Safari Zone encounters in HGSS, so not only did you have to contend with the abyssmal catch rate, you also had to deal with the fact that you couldn't embiggen it with damage or status, and on top of this you had to wait some absurd number of days before they would even show up
