>>41096092It has SIX weaknesses still.
Ice, dragon, poison, fairy, bug, flying.
He's got a few strong resists though. 1/4 elec, 1/4 water, 1/4 grass, 1/2 fire, 1/2 ground. Part of the problem is that it cannot stay in with that many weaknesses. Every offensive Pokemon will carry at least one of those six types to threaten it.
Consider Scizor, it has literally only one weakness. 4x fire. Everything else is neutral or resists. Consider Chansey/Blissey. Only 2x fighting. The "bulkiest" Pokemon generally tend to be the ones that have 1 - 2 weaknesses at most, and therefore it's likely that a Pokemon is missing enough coverage to hit for SE, making its attacks 4 or 5HKOs, at best.
Even as a grassfag myself, I have to acknowledge that grass types have a severe uphill battle because they have so many weaknesses and because grass is resisted by so much shit in the game. You either need to have steel to fix most of your weaknesses like ferrothorn, or you need to have ridiculous ability/movepool like Shaymin or Tapubulu. Everything else gets fucked because it's too much of a liability with so many weaknesses and few ways to pressure the opponent.
The only Sw/Sh Pokemon that stands a chance in OU right now is retarded gorilla with grassy terrain HA. Appletun is UU at most, even if it's design is cool. Cool design doesn't equate to viability though.
