instead of making dumbed-down remakes, what they should be doing is using let's go as a way to experiment with different ideas, further develop older regions' worldbuilding and lore, and tie the games in more closely with other pokemon media. ideally, they wouldn't just revisit the main-series regions, they'd also go back to ultra space and the spinoff regions (like orre or almia).
to sum it up, game freak should use let's go as an excuse to get creative and experimental, and then they should take the ideas that people like from these games and bring them over to the main series.
