why is cinderace so much less popular than the other starters?

Cinderace is gonna the most popular by a margin larger then we can imagine.

Cinderace is the most fursuit in the franchise. People hated him at first sight, but they will eventually love it because they love to be contrarians. And then Smash and anime will made it the new Greninja, and contrarians will be even more entitled with their filthy cereal mascot.

Cinderace is easily the ugliest of the Galar starters and at the time of the poll we didn't know how disgustingly good they'd made it.
Expect it to get more popular as people warm up to it/enjoy using it in comp.

Intellion would be much cooler if it used the Sniping animation as its main pose. The current pose makes it look like a gay twink with a scarf that's twirling his hips at the Incineroar in front of him. All the elements of a cool design are there they just chose to arrange it in the gayest way possible.
