You guys really think the games would be much better if they had more time to develop? Sure we might have more Pokemon, improved graphics and the game would be slightly longer but that's about it.
GF's game design philosophy has gone to shit over the years. Pushing the removed content and features aside, SWSH is mostly hallways and interruptions, arguably worse than in Gen 7. They care more about shoving plot and characters in your face and it shows. Oh and there's the new gimmick which they'll drop come next gen. Hell, USUM was supposed to be a 'completed' version of SM and all they added was more hallways.
At this point I'm starting to believe it would take a different developer for the games to be good again.
