What do you mean? It was the consensus that not all of the Pokémon were programmed in the game. Is it just the legendaries they plan on distributing as well as Kanto starters or are all the Pokémon programmed in the game but they’re just trying to force us not to use them?

If you hack it (or presumably import it) it works fine. All 435 Pokemon that are programmed in are fully implemented.

The reason why they're in the game but not available is because they're gonna be special gigantamax event Pokemon. They'll release a few every couple months to get people back in and get attention to the game. For example, they will have an event where you catch wild Venasaur and Blastoise that can gigantamax. It's why there are a bunch of legendaries and starters.

What do you mean by use? We know there’s 35 additional Pokémon (including Bulba) in the code, which I only assumed means they’ll either be catchable in post game or distributed later on. Also, they should be transferable from Home, I would assume.

Eh it just makes sense from a business perspective. They want people to keep talking about the game after they beat it so sales don't fall of a cliff. Most games do these sorts of minor content updates now, even Mario had the balloon mode.

The joke theory that they simply didn't want to go through every model and rename the filetype to work with Switch is seeming more and more plausible holy shit

We know for a fact the models are the same, people are already posting wireframe comparisons. There's minor tweaks at best but plenty are IDENTICAL
