Alolan Raticate is actually arguable worse because it sacrifices the original's rather lackluster power and Speed for ineffectual "bulk." Raticate was never good, and Alolan Raticate continues that tradition and exacerbates it.

Darmanitan is a fucking monster. Sheer Force Flare Blitz, Super Power, EQ transfer move, Wild Charge, recoil for days but goddamn what a absolute Unit. I remember more than once but one time in particular I was losing a 6v6 with shitty plays. But then darmanitan came in choice scarf equip. Knocked 4 mons out back to back as my last mon. Died to recoil after knocking out the last enemy but guess who won on that technicality?

Darmanitan is the wildest pokemon ever conceived
