>>41106284It sure looked like shit but from the 3ds to the switch IS has made a drastic improvement. On top of that, there's a shit ton of content that'll net you over 170 hours, all fully voice acted. At the very least the ends justify the means in this case, Pokemon does NOT. Not only is it graphically underwhelming, but the game doesn't do anything to improve upon the gameplay. Dynamax isnt as impactful because it can only be used in certain situations, and it isn't like a mega evolution where some Pokemon get very needed buffs i.g. Beedrill.
