Just seems like spinoffs in general have become irrelevant in favor for mobile trash. It feels like Detective Pikachu was the only big gen 7 spinoff and I'm still disappointed that PMD didn't get a game in gen 7
Also really want another Pokemon TCG game but that's guaranteed dead ;_;

You can still pick up the original TCG Gameboy game on the 3DS virtual console. It's structured very similarly to a normal Pokemon RPG, go around to different gyms and beat their leaders to become the champion using your deck. Every win nets you booster packs to improve and build your own decks.
