I have a special attachment to Zaprong, the traded elekid, because having the elemental punches + cross chop + boosted exp makes it one of the strongest pokemon in the game

I think it's a good balance between the grittier parts of colosseum but with better gameplay. Catching the shadow pokemon and purifying them also feels more rewarding than catching normal wild pokemon.

I don't have much of an opinion on battle revolution.

Yes but BW2 is my favorite pokemon game

I just really like the world, the environments, and the expressiveness of the characters and the pokemon. I like using the various different pokemon for this reason. There are only a few but it's fun to mix it up, I've done a mono ice run, an NFE run, and a run using only shadow pokemon. I replay the game every summer.

XD and Colosseum are actually hard though. They don't shove healing stations down your throat, and you're almost always underleveled.

I would add shadow nidoran male or female since as far as I'm aware there isn't a single trainer in either colosseum or XD that uses them or their evolutions.
