It seems like the more extroverted and outgoing natures (adamant, impish, sassy) make it Amped, while the more introverted and reserved ones (modest, mild, quiet) make it Low Key.
Although Docile makes it amped and Bold makes it Low Key, so I'm still not sure.

Can't manipulate the nature to get the form you want. You can use the mints to manipulate the +/- to stats that you want but the nature displayed in the bio determines the form

It gets access to Venoshock and Shift Gear, as opposed to Venom Drench and Magnetic Flux. Also it has Plus as its alternate ability instead of Minus, but you're generally gonna want Punk Rock regardless.

That's it. No stat changes or anything, just those things and the visual/flavor differences. When Amped Up uses Overdrive it makes a sound like an electric guitar and Low Key sounds like a bass. I also just realized that the growths on its chest correspond to the number of strings in its "instrument"

I wasn't trying to downplay it. A physical Shift Gear set could be viable but then you lose synergy with Punk Rock and Overdrive/Boomburst/etc. I guess the Physical set would want its hidden ability, Technician instead.

I mean, it can still run Hasty or Naive as its defenses are still shit anyways. I'm just glad that it has a way to be a genuine threat and not be stuck in SFMA hell. That would be super depressing for one of my favorite Pokemon, not to mention the first Poison/ Electric type.

you could always run a mixed set, invested in speed and sp.atk, with Shift Gear, Boomburst, Overdrive and Gunk Shot or another physical coverage move for special walls

i fucking hate it. discord does nothing but make everyone all hugboxy, off-topic and secludes possibly good content from those who'd love to save it but just weren't lucky enough to be around to see it. there's probably already a shit ton of good art there and in a year it all won't matter because it'll literally be up to whether or not the people making it care enough to spread it around. it's just all so disingenuine using something like this to basically kickstart some shitty IRC. god I'm so sick of seeing my favorite things just get divided up because discord kills the anonymity that makes this place so worthwhile

Eh I usually get too shy to talk anyway and eventually frequent the threads more. It is nice to find those with similar interest and befriend them, which is why I don’t mind it too much. I think I prefer being known as anon while stating my thoughts, though.

Not necessarily. I remember back in 2016, when there was a Guzma general and a discord was made for it. People thought the general would die, which it did slow down a bit, but quickly got back up on its feet and lasted so many months until it merged into the villain threads. Once the games are officially out, it’ll bring more people to the board and things will pick up once more.

Yeah, so discord can gorge itself up on more potential discussion? By providing an infinitely more suitable surrounding for it, it's rather brainless, and I've lost far too much from old guilds, /co/ shows and personal friends to ever see it any different. It'll choke this website out one day, once more are made and everyone's nestled in their own little hand-picked comfort zone. But like I said, only newfags could be that simple, so the only real pain is the redirection of attention from some content creators. I don't say it 'kills communities' hyperbolically, frankly.
