I don't like 3D anyway so I'm not as concerned with having it (especially since I know they're cock blocking good 3D for those who do want it because the main series is 3D) but there comes a time when you just have to put on the brakes and accept you aren't capable of doing something.
Game Freak is not capable of doing 3D. They should do what they were good at and let someone else handle 3D for those who care.
No one would've complained if they released a side 3D sim for use in competitive that was slowly updated with animations and shit.
