Hatterene's cry is really cool because it sounds like a woman's scream. What a certain floating head ghost probably should have been to begin with.
But there also seem to be a lot with vague cries which feel like just filler noise.

Why do they sound like altered versions of their prevo’s cries? Perrserker sounds like a more aggressive meowth instead of having a unique cry. Even an altered Persian cry would make more sense. Perrseker is so weird.

PLEASE GOD LET IT BE AN ULTRA BEAST. On a side note I also adore Zacian and Zamazenta's cries. Generally I really enjoyed this round of cries for the brand new Pokemon!

That aside these are pretty good but I really think they should try to move towards more animal like sounds. Pidgey line is a great example of not just saying it's name but also not being fully robotic.

Why does every pokemon cry sound like a horribly compressed 8bit midi file from 20 years ago? Aren't we beyond the limits of shitty technology that dictated how gen 1 pokemon sounded? The switch literally has the capability to so flawless dialogue and voice acting, why do pokemon still sound like dog shit? Can anyone honestly answer this?
