>>41116814To clarify on the EXP sharing and letting players choose how it is distributed, I'd have these settings:
How it works in SS.
Pokemon who saw battle and/or are under-leveled will get a bigger portion of the EXP
Every Pokemon gets an even 1/6 of the EXP pool.
The Pokemon who gets the KO or was the first to enter battle gets 50% and all of the other Pokemon get 10% of the EXP. The same but with 25% and a 15% split for the rest.
I would also keep the EXP Candies that SS have. They alongside Rare Candies make for good rewards for in game challenges.
Additionally I would get rid of the PP Up and PP Max items, instead just increasing all moves PP by 60% by default.
>>41116823I think people who like Shiny Pokemon should be able to feasibly get them without having to waste dozens or hundreds of hours on it. They should be treated like trophies or rewards for being really good at battling not for sinking time.
Also in game online tournaments and events should have some prizes of sorts. Things like special rare Shiny Pokemon, trainer cosmetics, those sorts of things.
>>41117168One of the great strengths of Pokemon is the freedom to craft the team you want. Having a dedicated class system where certain types are given bonuses and priorities goes against that.
I really like the idea of being able to run and create/customize your own gym. It would be a cool way to have user generated content that could be shared online. I would also consider making it so that when challenging another player's gym, the levels are made uniform and you can force certain restrictions like "No Items" or "No switching Pokemon."
