All the houses I've been in so far, the even if the layout is similar to other houses before them will have something to differentiate it with another town's house. Whether it's a different colored wall, floor or tablecloth, something.
For example, all the two houses in petalburg have different layouts from each other, as well as a salmon/pink color pallete(rugs, walls). None of the layouts in this town are reused.
Rustboro City has purple ahd yellow checked floors, and blue and yellow accents to the furniture. There's one building, where Devon employees stay in. That has green carpet, and blue tables, and slightly different layouts in each room you enter. None of the layouts in this city are reused. There's differences in furniture like table length and a few cabinets.
Same deal in Fallarbor, Lavaride Town. Unique chairs too, different layouts.
Navigated that maze of a city in Mauville, and it's like this as well. Similar layout, but with different colored items to set it apart slightly.
These are just the few cities I've been too.
