Dexcut and a lot of dumb decisions are in this, and that's harmful obviously
but in terms of the actual story, yea there's a shit ton of cutscenes but none as goddamn hand-holdy as sun and moon, and a lot of aspects are just better.
X and Y characters were forgettable and the story sucked, along with just being garbage with shitty difficulty.
Sun and moon had handholding for the first island and a half, along with the mostly boring trials (A few were good)
This I feel is better than those games, but that's it.
It's a good game, it probably would of been fantastic if it wasn't glaringly rushed.
If you want to put in the dexcut however, and focus in on the problems, then yea, it'll probably be below those.
