>>41122317The missing dex was never an issue for me. They could have removed them all except the new Pokemon, as long as the new Pokemon were good, I wound have bought it. I'm always up for making new bros, sadly i only like maybe 2 or 3 Pokemon from this gen.
The problem for me is that each gen after 5 has been getting worse. And I didn't even finish them until years later.
Sure each gen added a bro or two, but the game ended up looking worse, or playing worse.
With gen 6, I excused it as gf getting used to the 3ds. Oras rolled around and the Pokemon somehow still looked to lack some of the life that sprites had. Maybe color? The games still ran like hot garbage, couldn't even give a steady 30. (When you had games like smash 3ds giving a perfect 60 on a handheld).
Sumo was the first game that I didn't clock hours in. Somehow they made it laggier, and slower. I think my copy of sun only has 20 hours, and this is after giving it try after try. I wonder if the cutscenes were just a way to pad out the game time. I didn't even move my Pokemon for this one, they are in oras as a living dex.
Tldr, yes. I would've still shat on this game with a full dex.
