It's because people overblew the dexit deal early so damn much, when there still wasn't much reason to do so, and then a domino reaction triggered where people would make an absurdly big deal about ridiculously minor things in the game like "OMG LOOK IF YOU PAUSE THE VIDEO YOU WILL NOTICE IN ONE FRAME THE SPLASH EFFECT DOESN'T MATCH WHEN MANTINE FALLS IN THE WATER. THIS IS COMPLETE BULLSHIT AND THIS GAME IS SHIT"
Those people would react with equal intensity and hatred towards anything ANYTHING regardless if it was actually a major thing or not and would also jump to the minor sign of something being wrong even if it was a fake information. All of that completely ruined the credibility of those criticisms to the point nobody actually take it seriously. It's like the fable of the boy who lied so much about the wolf that nobody believed when there was one, except instead of lying is complaining: if you complain about each and everything with the same intensity, nobody will care when your complaints are actually right.
As it turned out, the dexit was too much for a first impact, part of the reasons given to it were blatant lies and I say part because there was also the 'balancing' excuse they can always hide behind even while doing clearly broken shit like Libero Cinderace, the game is poorly put together, core features like GTS were removed, and a lot of things are surfacing that make the complaints more and more valid. But now.
So much valid criticism can be done about the games now, but unfortunately you people already blew it up months ago with laughable dramatic overreactions to the point that absolutely anything we say now will be bundled together by others as a bunch of entitled kids pulling a pathetic tantrum. That includes both other players that could support actually valid complaints and Gamefreak, that will not listen to your hashtags and will only truly care if the sales flop.
