The shill excuse would be to say Pokémon games have always had shit graphics. Pokémon red blue came out in monochrome even though the gameboy color was the current hardware of the time.

ya i mean simple things like making pokemon prowl up to you like they were hunting. or pokemon running away hiding in buches or trees. useing baiting out methods and sweet scents. no we get the 3d models walking around like some indie basement game in develpotment for 10 years

It's seriously disappointing.
I like the idea of the open area where you can (finally) move your camera.
But the fully evolved monsters popping in look kinda stupid. It could be done better, but I shouldn't expect them to.
