>>41126149Pirate here. At the end of the day it is a pokemon game. We have lower expectations for it because of that and are mostly looking for a comfy time that it delivers on here and there. However, none of that should excuse what a half assed game it is. It's got too many problems and they've lied to us too much. It should get nothing more than a 5. Maybe a 5.6 if we are being honest. I want game reviews to be critical and thoughtful and consider everything, but as we know, game journalists are often times bought, biased, or stupid. Usually all three. As a pokemon game, it's probably the worst in the series if you compare it to the other mainline games, but its still serviceable if janky as shit herr and therr. As the console debut, as the game promised to please us long time fans, it's absolute garbage.
