I'm definitely picking grookey as my starter. Rillaboom is objectively the best looking one of the final evolutions. Does anyone have his complete move learnset, gigamax images, or any other images other than the one I posted? I want to know more about my boy

Honestly if it didn’t have the drum and drumsticks rillaboom would be a solid 8/10, but the drum knocks it down to a 3(still higher than the other starters unfortunately, they really arent that good this gen)

Even though it's a gorilla I wish it had been less humanoid.
Why not make it walk on all fours and go bipedal when attacking? It also amazes me how the drum isn't baked into its body, the whole gorillas pounding their chest thing seems like an obvious match.

You really should see him in action. I have a Rillaboom and the standard animation is him moving to the beat. He seems really hyper. Drum Beating animation is similar to Frenzy Plant. He bangs on his drum and then vines come from the ground and hit the target in a rhythm. I don't have a gif or webm of it.>>41127550

High Horse Power is very good for him, his abillity creates Grassy terrain, earthquake would only have 50 Bp, HHP is a better choice

They shamelessly put so much more effort on Pyro Ball sequence than on Drum Beating and Sniper Shot, it's ridiculous. They are not even trying to hide they are favoring one of the starters. And don't forget Cinderace have 2 signature moves instead of 1

Drum is actually a small tambourine that grows magically (?) one it is placed on the ground. Weird but ok, problem is the sticks magically appearing on its hands once the drum is max sized.
Why they would drop the one defining trait of its two forms keeping the drumsticks on their hair? Just when it develops a majestic one? It makes zero sense, but I suppose the effort went to the drum
