Even the soundtrack is complete shit from what I've listened to so far.

The Gym theme has the same issue with the obviously fake chant/cheering. Good idea, horrible execution, like most of the things in this game.

His music while not terrible sounding is the most cliche JRPG sounding thing. But I'll take that over the jumbled rock leitmotif mess that is SWSH's ost. Why Ichinose? The early game tracks were decent. Are you getting old?

I guess they wanted Toby Fox to feel at home or some shit, gotta give him that man a dozen lietmotifs to put in his track.

In all seriousness though, not sure. I enjoy lietmotifs in game tracks but I gotta admit that it does seem a little overdone and too obvious. Toby is typically subtle as fuck but GF seems like they tried to imitate him and fucked up.
