Dusk and Shiny would be for Espeon and Umbreon if they were to change them, not Sun and Moon.

Shiny is the light stone in the language the devs are working which wouldn't be directly connected to Fairies considering how horrible many of them are in the origin myths.

Oh, and forgot to mention the right stone before hitting post. The Dawn Stone would make more sense for Sylveon as it's just awakening stone. Still doesn't make much sense but especially in Gen 6 when Fairies came about it would've.

Yes, according to the datamine, but only Leafon and Glaceon among the Eeveelutions. Also, Charjabug now evolves to Vikavolt via Thunder Stone.

Those three are linked to love. Also you can explain the Leafeon and Glaceon one away with the stones having the same energy as the rocks, but you can't explain why those three no longer need happiness or affection.
