Itd work in South Park because its a sarcastic ass show that isnt doing it seriously, but Japan has a long history of racism and negative stereotypes on gays and trans people so it may come across as more laughing at trans people rather than in south park where you laugh at the townspeople being racist or sexist while trying to spread unity.
