>>41130052Even besides the dex and all that that implies, nothing I've seen is particularly good. It's just another pokemon game for the most part. Has overworld pokemon from LGPE and seemingly a single wild area, but also has bugs, ugly graphics, and subjectively questionable dex and music. Continues having a bad level curve, continues having terrible writing shoved in your face, continues having primarily mediocre animations. Has some quality of life improvements as usual too though, which is nice. Also hope they'll bring camping into a better game since I just wish they'd make a Pokemon Nintendogs already.
Much like most pokemon games, there's no reason this should be in the 80s. I can't say it did nothing since it did introduce the wild area, but it's not enough. It's still so mediocre. Pokemon never tries to be anything but.
Such a fucking waste of such a good world with good designs and even good mechanics.
