Have you noticed that almost all positive reviews don't mention technical issues, dex cut and anything that is an actual valid issue in general? Strange

These are things only genuine long-time fans (not tourists who play one game every 3-4 gens) care about. Everyone expected the reviews to be like they are.

It's the complete opposite of a valid issue, valid issues are things that affect everyone's experience with the game regardless of how they play it. A game-breaking bug is a valid issue. The dex cut has no affect on the way a lot of people play the game, so expecting it to be factored into reviews that are intended for the average person is pretty dumb.

obvious, retard, the dex cut only impedes you from transferring pokémon from Home, which is not even available yet. The game will not be affected by it until then and even after that people playing it normally won't notice, only when they try to use Home

Dex cut has 0 effect on people until Home becomes available. As it is the game is no different from USUM Dex-wise (400 Pokemon).

imagine just being a normie for 2 seconds. You haven't been following any news around the updates at all. The new pokemon game is announced on switch. You watch a review that CATERS SPECIFICALLY TO NORMIES and think "wow this game looks alright", and you get the game and have fun.

Just because it's disappointing to the hardcore fans, doesnt mean that casuals won't enjoy it

it literally doesnt matter to them, its their work to play the game, so they play it, get to the credits, close the game and writes the review, having a full national dex or not makes no difference to them, game journo reviews for this type of game is pretty useless

Yuzu doesn't run it well. It seems to get stuck in every cutscene. You can imagine the problem with that in this age of story based Pokemon.

i've been saying it for years. reviewers don't take pokemon seriously enough to do their homework before shitting out a review. that's why a game with an island region gets criticized for having "too much water," but valid issues like the dex cut are glossed over.
they're in the same boat as kirby, which gets the same "cute but too easy, 8/10" reviews regardless of the quality of the game.
