Disregarding Sword and Shield, what is the worst Pokémon game in your opinion, and why?
FireRed and LeafGreen are the worst for me, all of the boring and worst aspects of Generation 1, but without any of the janky charm that made Red and Blue interesting. The lack of an expanded Kanto dex is understandable, but the way they "fake out" the evolution for Chansey and Golbat, etc. pre beating the Elite Four is extremely annoying and takes up too much time. The addition of the Sevii Islands was okay in theory, but really bare bones in execution.
