Corvisquire is in the same boat. I evolved as soon as it let me. Looks good, but pluck and peck are the only flying moves so far and I'm on level 27... If you're gonna use it, don't let it evolve until it learns better moves.
The turtle one sucks ass until it evolves which is level 22, because it has practically no SpA and its water moves is special lol. And once it evolves you pretty much need to teach it waterfall through single use TM. Lucky you get one.
Also the little fox Pokemon, Nickit, is ok. And Evo is cool.
