Potentially two. One for beating Leon, another for reaching Master Ball rank in Ranked Battles. Not sure if its a ranked mode in the tower or online battles.

Its one mode now, like pre gen 6 battle tower. Gen 6 and 7 had the easy mode which is gone.

They cut everything. The battle tower is just for show. You just walk in, get your team rated by an NPC, and leave.

It was a Battle Tree, it was nothing but a skin for the Battle Tower, but at least it contained ONE way of interacting with a friend in a challenging way, playing doubles.
