Face it. Even SwSh got an 81 on metacritic. Game Freak could literally publish a .JPG of a turd being squeezed out of a cat's asshole and IGN would give it a 9/10 and call it the best Pokemon game ever, and children would gobble that turd review right up.
Our unwavering loyalty to this franchise let it get away with rushing XY out the door half-baked, it let Game Freak get away with USUM being almost the exact same games with a somehow worse story and actual cut content from the originals.
We let them get away with LeGoPiEe because it was their first outing on Switch, and our expectations were already low.
Then they made Mew cost fifty dollars, and then they tied Meltan to a shitty mobile game.
We didn't speak up then, and our voices won't reach GameFreak's ears now. The franchise you loved, the one which gave us Emerald, Platinum, HGSS and BW2, that franchise is dead, replaced with a low effort travesty of cut content, cut corners, and poorly animated cutscenes.
It's better to just move on at this point. You will never convince the drooling horde of braindead children and manchildren (and womanchildren) that the games they're playing are objectively flawed and inferior, a mockery of their previous installments. They will never listen. These are the kinds of people who only know Pokemon from XY and beyond, or god forbid GO and beyond. We brought this upon ourselves. We let them get away with selling us shit, and now we've been replaced with actual retards who buy shit unironically because it's Pokemon and it's not for nerds anymore.
