Where did game reviewers learn to write honestly? How in fuck do so many reviewers struggle with subjective vs objective line in reviews? While it's impossible to be entirely objective, you should always try balance any subjectivity with double the amount of objective facts. The problem with all these positive reviews is they read like gorified facebook posts "I loved this, I loved that, I love this, I think this is so great", there is little discussion about the actual mechanics, how they interact, the quality of the writing, the animations, art/graphics etc.
If I wasn't forced to phoneposting because my laptop is fucked, I would be writing a far better review than most of what I am reading.
