I feel bad for Eternatus some douche wakes it up and makes it go nuts then it gets attacked by people until one of them enslaves it. They don't even mention it again after that at least with previous legendaries they said things like it chose you and maybe by being with you this pokemon can learn to control it's power etc but Eternatus there's nothing for it and it's special form isn't even usable by the player I hate that shit

This shit makes me seethe, doesn't matter what game it is. But, more importantly. Perhaps there's some dialogue or so after Eternatus is captured that elaborates on their situation. Hopefully. At the very least, our alien lifeform of death and infinite energy seems rather happy in their new home.
The situation reminds me of SM, where Anabel convinces the International Police to let the Ultra Beasts remain in Sun/Moon's care, believing that they will be much happier and healthier alongside their new Trainers than anywhere, or with anyone, else.

It wasn't intentional though, I just literally ran out of all other balls and was scared I was going to run out.
This was a good memory until I looked up when Ruby released to see how long ago that was and realized it's been 17 years. I am dying. Haha.

Just like with this game. The battle themes and town themes are great but the Wild Area is so unfitting for a Pokémon game.

no it's immune to status effects in that form you have to kick it's ass with brute force and the pokeball throw is scripted to be a capture so use any ball you want, personally I'm putting it in a Premier Ball,blue doggo will get a great ball

USUM actually succeeded in making decent boss fights. You always cheese them but never one sweep them. This is just a really long cutscene because the player is doing minimal work. Doesn't matter if you can't do shit to Eternatus as long as the dogs are dishing super effective damage.

I unironically actually like the music (except for the ass wolf howling midi) and the legendaries. But that's literally just about it, everything else in this game is trash or at least three steps downward from S&M which already set the bar really low.

After hearing their cry in-game and in HQ, I'm convinced it's another case of "it literally is an Ultra Beast but Game Freak wants to be autistic". That ringing at the end of their cry is way too reminiscent of the Ultra Beasts to just be a simple reference. The design too, very eccentric for a Pokemon of this world.

I genuinely love Necrozma's theme. The loud, banging Organs just communicate this feeling of absolute dread, like this guy is about to rip you limb from limb and fuck the corpse and there's nothing you can do to stop him. Eternatus's themes are just....painful to listen to. No, really, I got a migrane from it and I've had to wear headphones all day long because it hurts so much.

Eternatus also fucking sucks design wise, especially the eternamax form. It's just so unrelentingly lame.
